Do you want your customers to keep coming back to you when they need one of your services? Do you want them to write good reviews and help you get more customers through word of mouth?

Any service business needs a steady flow of customers in order to keep running. If you’re a business owner looking to create wealth and freedom and reach market domination, then you need repeat customers, and a good reputation among all of them – new and returning.

Do you know what it comes down to? Your customers need to trust you.

So how do you make sure that happens? There are a couple of keys to building customer trust – and I promise, you can get there! Customer care is just one of the many things I teach service business owners with CEO Warrior – but it’s definitely one of the most important!

For one thing, you need credibility. Whether you’re running a plumbing, electrical, or HVAC business, your job is to be an advocate for your customers. They need to know that you are going to correctly identify their problem and offer the best solution to fix it. It’s not all about price. Customers are looking for value – if they know you’re going to fix the problem efficiently and effectively, they’ll be willing to pay for it. Build up this credibility and you’ll create a long-term relationship with each customer.

Secondly, you must be reliable. Whether you promise 24-hour emergency service, same-day installations, or a warranty on certain repairs – stand by them; live up to those promises. Show your customers that they can rely on you to be there when you say you will, and that you will perform the services you offer, at the price you offer. If you don’t deliver on your promises, your customers are going to turn to a competitor who will. Don’t let that happen.

Focus on these keys, build that customer trust – and I promise you they’ll keep coming back to you time and again!
