Bringing you another Business Breakthrough, so you defined your culture and I hope you’re taking massive action, so let’s talk about business identity.
Just like culture, your business, you need to identify exactly what you want to become.
So really be clear.
What kind of services, what kind of products, is your business going to deliver?
When people are talking, what do you want them to say about your business?
People think business identity is brand identity. If I brand my trucks, business will come.
That’s the farthest from the truth.
Business identity is what your company stands for.
If you stand for charity, people will talk about that.
If you stand for Nordstrom level of customer service, people will recognize that.
So your challenge is the same as your culture identity challenge.
Map out your identity today. Where do you want it to go. Survey your existing customers.
Then you’ll have that gap again, and you can fix that gap.
