Speaker 1: Challenges you’d like to remedy.
Speaker 2: We need organization, there’s issues with the guys, there’s inventory issues on the trucks, tool issues with the guys. We need to apply these principles of clarity alignment and accountability and we need to get it done. I’ve already been making some changes since I’ve been on the phone. I’ve got some guys that have bad attitudes, but their not clear, we are not aligned, you know what I mean? Truck inventory, it’s all stuff that’s got to be done, but immediately, if it’s important for me to make sure if the guys do well, because if the guys do well, everybody is going to do well.
Speaker 1: The value you have received so far?
Speaker 2: Monetary value is off the hook, if you apply it, what is it worth? It’s freaking infinite. It’s really going to based upon the effort that you’re going to put in to implement what it is he is being taught.
Speaker 1: How is it being immersed in Gold Medal?
Speaker 2: It’s incredibly powerful, it’s incredibly powerful. The fact that we’re in the facility and that you’re standing here, the shop is there, the guys are right there. I made it a point to meet a bunch of guys and I’ve asked a bunch of them how do you like working here. They are all like solid hand shake looking and they’re like, I wouldn’t work anywhere else.
Does that mean that everyday is perfect? No, but I mean when you get a guy to say that, not one person has had not even, not that I would expect them to say, Gosh, this place sucks. No, these guys’ eye contact, their facial expressions, their body language has been all positive and it reinforces the culture. It’s like if you did it anywhere else, if we had gone to a hotel for this, his words and everything would be affected, but it drives it home so much more that we are here and we’re inside this operation. The CSR room is right there, you know what I mean, it’s incredibly powerful.
Speaker 1: What would you say to someone who may be unsure about attending the next event?
Speaker 2: What is being taught is applicable throughout your life, it’s not just your business, it’s your personal life. If you want you’ve got to commit, you’ve got to commit, so either shit or get off the pot. That is really what it comes down to. If you’re not happy, what are you going to do about it? Are you going to just wallow in misery or are you going to get it together and make something happen and come. If you think it’s too much money, if you come here and learn this stuff and implement it, I don’t see any way it’s not going to pay for itself, I mean, that doesn’t even seem possible.
If you think that you can’t make it work, you have a limiting belief and that is one of the things that you come here and they will show you that it’s not true, it’s not true. If you don’t want to make the commitment to yourself, you’re not going to make the commitment to your customer, you’ve already failed. You’ve already failed, go do something else. I mean, go do something completely different, but you know what, it probably won’t change because you have to make the change. No matter what you do, you are you. No matter where you go in the country, no matter what you do for a living, you are always you, so if that doesn’t change, what else will?
