You’ve probably seen this in your own business: you start it up and commit in your mind to running an efficient, well-oiled machine of a business.
… and then you begin marketing.
… or serving your first customer.
… or hiring a new team member.
… or dealing with vendors.
You may want to have it all dialed in but the reality is: it doesn’t take long for things to become messy.
Inefficiency creeps in, in small ways and you don’t even realize it. Over time, your organization runs less lean, it takes slightly longer to do everything, and you can even be slightly less profitable.
… And that adds up. A minute here, a few dollars there. Small daily inefficiencies that are easy to ignore can add up to BIG, UGLY results by the end of the year.
(As a service business owner, you’re already aware of this principle just by understanding how a slightly less efficient HVAC system or the slow build-up of sediment in the plumbing can have a long-term negative impact on the function of those systems.)
Recognizing the long-term danger of an inefficient business, we recently challenged all of our Warriors to optimize their business for greater efficiency and success.
At CEO Warrior, we’re always helping our Warriors to run better businesses, and we run regular challenges that our Warriors work hard to win each and every month. These coveted challenges, called “Grenade Awards” celebrate the achievements of one Warrior who stand out each month in that month’s challenge.
In October we held an Optimization contest, awarding the winner with the Grenade Award for optimizing their business and creating a more streamlined, more efficient business.
By the end of the month, based on a number of factors, we were proud to award Tanya Simon, owner of Service Experts with the coveted Warrior Grenade award for her active participation in the Optimization challenge.
The Warrior Grenade award is awarded each month to the winner of these month-long business-building challenges and competition is fierce among Warriors to participate for the much-sought-after award.
Tanya Simon proved herself to be a focused Warrior with a relentless passion for a more optimized business.
The CEO Warrior team thanks all Warriors for proving yet again just how powerful they can become when they get laser-focused on growing one skill-set, and the CEO Warrior team also congratulates Tanya Simon for her tireless efforts to push herself farther than ever and learn to optimize her business.
