Gold Medal Service Becomes BPI GoldStar Contractor
New Jersey home services company announces its ongoing commitment to quality by getting certified with the Building Performance Institute
EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J. July 14, 2014 – Gold Medal Service, an award-winning heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, drain cleaning, and waterproofing service company servicing all of New Jersey, was recently accredited as a Building Performance Institute, Inc. (BPI) GoldStar Contractor. The GoldStar Contractor program focuses on strengthening contractors’ internal quality control processes, improving customer service, reducing waste, and investing in systems that result in greater profits and customer loyalty.
“I am very excited about Gold Medal Service becoming a BPI GoldStar Contractor,” said Mike Agugliaro, co-owner of Gold Medal Service. “We are committed to giving every one of our customers a winning experience, and I believe joining this program will give us another level of credibility. Our customers will see the seal and know that they can be assured of quality service every time.”
BPI sets national standards for residential energy efficiency and weatherization retrofit work. Through the BPI GoldStar Contractor program, contractors like Gold Medal Service learn best practices for service improvement through quality management training and contractor mentoring. Contractors must agree to adhere to BPI standards when conducting heating and air conditioning or other home services. BPI conducts data review of members’ jobs, and may occasionally perform in-field quality assurance testing.
Member contractors get priority placement on BPI’s contractor locator tool, as well as Google search engine and display marketing support for the BPI GoldStar Contractor brand.
“BPI holds its contractors accountable to a certain level of quality, and in doing so, helps those contractors offer better customer service,” said Agugliaro. “Gold Medal Service already holds itself to a high standard of quality, and I know this is just another way to boost that and show our customers that we want to give them the best experience possible.”
