When I’m working with business owners, and every other month I have 20 different business owners coming into our war room to work with me on how to change the game. Here’s what I find out all the time. Entrepreneurs, yes this is X-rated. They’re a little fucked up. They are. You know why? Because we love to make things complex. We love to make it difficult. “Well, what if I do this, this, this, and this.” Then, “Well, wow, wow, wow. What if we do this and this, and let’s add this and this,” and then you step back and they didn’t get nothing done. Because they made it so complex.
Here’s what I’m going to tell you. A friend of mine, and I consider him a mentor, he just told me. “I believe in making things simple.” See simple is easy to follow. Simple is predictable. Complex is difficult. Complex lots of road blocks. Simple. I just want you … I don’t need to go anymore on this message. I just want you to ask yourself … Here’s your action item, “What have I over complicated, and if I could only just do a couple things to simplify it, what would it be?” What have I over complicated? How can I make it simple?
