Mike Agugliaro here bringing you, yes, another video. Today I want to talk to you about communication and communication blunders like … you know, one of the things that always amazed me is all the time when we do surveys to our employees, one of the biggest things that comes back every time, I’m telling you every time, is, “We wish there was better communication.”
Here’s the thing: I think one of the major things about communication that makes it kind of blunder and not work is, see, people are, they take communication a lot of times as confrontation and that’s why I think they say, “You got two ears and one mouth,” for a reason, right? Listen twice as much as you talk.
There’s a lot of wisdom in that, because here’s the deal. Most people are already listening with how they’re going to respond instead of listening to see what can I learn from this conversation? Here’s what I want to tell you. One of the tips on how to really help communication is one, listen. Two, don’t worry about responding. You do not have to respond. I mean, you don’t have to be a mute and just mm, mm. You have to say, “Yes, I heard you. Let me just process that a little bit and then let’s get back together and talk about it,” because I know one thing about communication. When you step aside a little bit, and you allow yourself to process, well, then you’re not worried about responding to either justify or looking to respond to make sure, “Hey, am I heard?,” or look to pick a fight.
There’s a little bit on communication. Pay attention to the way you communicate. Listen more than what you say, so you can process, and serve you, your customers, your employees, and even your family at that sense, okay?
I’m Mike Agugliaro wishing you a better than great day today and every day. Just want to help you get what? Massive wealth and tons of freedom. Market domination. Have a great day.
