So, today I’m bring you a concept that’s about pillow talk. So, what the heck is pillow talk? Don’t get all crazy on me. I don’t care if you’re laying on a pillow with feathers in it, and silk and stuff. That’s not what this is about.
Pillow talk is that time of the day when everything … Most of things are out of your mind, you’re not thinking about all the little logistical things of life, getting milk, and getting kids done. It’s a time when you’re resting and you really are having those honest conversations, either with yourself, your wife, the dog, whoever it is, and those are the conversations that’s the pillow talk conversations.
Those are the things that you’re talking about that are really bothering you. They’re the problems, and if you could just take the pillow talk conversations, and just kind of after you’re done doing your whining, your complaining, your thinking, your concerning. Just kind of have a pad there and say, “Yeah, here’s the things that are really bothering me. These are the things that if I can just fix. If I can just change those things, it would change the game,” and then guess what? The next night’s another night for pillow talk again, but you know you’re making the turning point when your pillow talk goes from complaining about the guys, complaining about the customers, complaining about the vendors, and all of the sudden your talks are on the pillow … It’s about where am I going to go on vacation, and what am I going to buy, what am I going to do.
So, there is a tipping point where that will change, but first, let’s look at where your pillow talk is, and then second, let’s see if there’s anything that has to change, and if you’re already on the tipping point, hey, congratulations. That’s good for you. That’s where I want everybody to be. Those conversations could even get deeper where you could start writing down. Here’s my next target, here’s my next thing on my … I don’t like saying bucket list, because that kind of tells you you’re going to die, and you want to finish these things, but more about a life list. Like, let’s just have an endless list of things that you want to do, so that might come out on your pillow talk, too.
