Hi, Mike Agugliaro bringing you another episode of CEO Warrior TV. Welcome back again. Here’s what I want to talk about today. I want to talk about treating your business like you treated it when it was your very first week, or day, the time you were starting to build it. That’s what I want to talk to you about, because what happens in business is, you start getting these experiences and as much as the experiences are great in the beginning, sometimes you have some not great experiences over time, like you have great employees but they leave you.
Then you have trucks break, and then maybe somebody doesn’t pay you for a job that you did, right? You become little bit of tainted, and you start to function within that world of that, there is always going to be this problem. Instead of what, something me and Rob always talk about, for the last 20 years, is we ask ourselves. We always say, “Hey, you know what? Are we treating it like it was Week One again?” because that’s the level of energy you need, the level of mindset you need, the level of thinking and the hunger to go out there and get the business.
Your fast-track to get you moving and the speed going again is, I just want you to rewind time but not rewind time like you are rewinding the knowledge and putting yourself back in time with the knowledge you had then. It’s like my Dad used to say, “Man, if I could go back to school with what I know now, imagine what that would be like.” I want you to imagine, if you started treating your business like it was Day One again but with the knowledge you have now, what will that be like?
That’s your homework today. That’s what I want you guys to do. I want you to treat your business like it’s that Day One, that energy of building the name and going out and getting the jobs and the business. It was very exciting, you were driven, you had tons of energy. That’s what I want you to do. Go out there and treat it like it was Week One, but with your knowledge you have today.
