Hey. Mike Agugliaro bringing you another fast track business break through. Excited to have you back again. I've got so much adrenaline going on. You know, a lot of times I record a whole bunch of these videos in one line, and after every one, I get more and more jacked up.

Then sometimes, I just pick up the camera and do a video, right? But today, I want to talk to you … Yeah, I'm not going to say it's my most favorite subject, but it is. It is one of my favorite ones.

It's progress versus perfection. Progress versus perfection. I'll tell you what I learned. Perfection is one of the largest causes of paralysis, stalling, not getting things done, because we want to get it so fixed, so perfect, right, that a lot of times I'm like, “Hey, how's your membership plan? Or how's your wow service? Or, how's your X factor,” and they're like, “Ah, I'm still working on it.”

How long? How long are you working on it? They're like, “Ah, 6 months, a year, 5 years.” I'm like aw man. Okay, clear identifier. Tell me where you're at from the level of getting something done, and it not being perfect, and it has to be perfect. Tell me where you're at there.

A lot of times they say, “Yeah, I'd like to get it as perfect as possible.” I'm like, okay, good news and bad news. Bad news is you have that shit. The good news is I know how to help you fix it, and change this, and when we change it, and we work on progress versus perfection, we'll move ahead.

Because is perfection attainable, and I want you to listen to this. Is perfection attainable? It's impossible. Okay, it's impossible. There's nothing perfect. There's no tree perfect, there's none.

I said, “Well, you know, Mike. Life is perfect.” I'm like, no, nothing's perfect. Nothing's perfect, right? But, that's where the magic happens. To love that it is. It's like mastery. Will you ever hit a level of mastery? Well, I mean based on what level? Is it your personal mastery, or a mastery of somebody else?

You never really hit a level of mastery. You master more than what you did the day before, or year before, or centuries before, but the quest for mastery is what makes it so special. That's why when you see my book, Secrets of Business Mastery in all these things, it's because the quest to get there, to attain the next level makes you so hungry. But, perfection. If you're looking for perfect. The perfect wrap. The perfect folder. The perfect business card, right? The perfect software system.

Have I said anything that so far that you're like, yep. I got it. It's perfect. No, none of them, but progress equals results. Little progress, over time, equates results. Big progress, quick progress; quicker bigger results sometimes. It all depends on what the subject is, or what we're doing.

I want you today, here's your action item today. I want you just to ask yourself what is one of the things that you've been trying to get perfection. Hey, you've been looking for the perfect marriage? How about the perfect child? How's that been working out? The perfect day. The perfect beach, right? How's all them been working out?

Well, my wife if she watches this, she's like, “Perfect beach. I know where it is. It's Hawaii. It's a perfect beach.” No, I'm just saying. Look, when you're looking for perfection, it could be a lonely road, and a lot of let downs. You may never get there, and you'll never grow.

If you're looking for progress, you will move that ahead, and you will gain momentum of progress, progress, progress. The other thing is look, what could be the worst thing that happened? Let's say, now if you wrapped a truck and you have a complete name on it, or something, and it's so bad and you have to re-wrap it. Yeah, I get it. There's a cost to that, but you don't have to do it overnight, do you? You could just change it. On a wrap, you could put a piece of wrap over it, right?

If you have folders, and you print out 10,000 and they're wrong, you should just throw them out? No, throw a sticker on it, use the 10,000 folders, make a transition.

Progress is improvements. As you see, I've been making progress. Like I tell you, like things on price books. I'm probably on 12 different versions, and membership plans, and folders, and pens. There's nothing in my business that's in the same place it was 10 years ago.

Everything has made more of different progress. Sometimes the progress has to go down here to come back up here, right? Sometimes, you have to pull back, pull back the rubber band, boom, to spring forward.

So, today I challenge you. Find something that you've been waiting for perfection, make progress on it. I'm Mike Agugliaro, I'm wishing you a better and great day today, and everyday. I want to help you get massive wealth, tons of freedom, and market domination. Have a better and great day.
